TOTEM Incense Holder

Totem is an incense holder designed as a small sculptural ritual object. Built from intersecting vertical planes, its form recalls abstract figures, architectural fragments, and ceremonial markers. The high-gloss surface gives the object a strong visual presence, reflecting light across its edges while allowing the rising smoke to soften the composition around it.

The object is designed to hold incense as part of a quiet daily ritual. A brass detail supports the incense cone or stick, creating a warm contrast against the coloured lacquered body. As the incense burns, smoke moves through the open spaces and cut-out forms, turning the object into a temporary landscape of scent, shadow, and movement. Totem can be placed on a console, low table, shelf, or meditation corner, where it becomes both a functional holder and a visual anchor within the room.
