SOLAR Wall Clock

Solar is a wall clock designed around the quiet movement of time, light, and orientation. Its softened, pebble-like form breaks away from the strict geometry of conventional clocks, giving the object a more natural and living presence on the wall. Finished in a refined high-gloss surface, Solar reflects the surrounding light, windows, and shadows, allowing the clock face to change subtly throughout the day.

A hidden hanging system with four mounting points allows Solar to be placed in different orientations. Each axis gives the clock a slightly different character, changing the way the form rests visually on the wall while keeping the reading of time clear and functional. This small adjustment turns installation into part of the design, allowing the user to choose whether the object feels calm, dynamic, upright, or gently off-balanced within the interior.

As part of B-Objects, Solar expresses BESTA’s approach to colour, gloss, and everyday function. It transforms a familiar object into a refined surface composition, where time is held within colour, reflection, and soft asymmetry. Whether placed in a hallway, living room, bedroom, office, or gallery-like interior, Solar brings a quiet sense of rhythm to the room — not only marking time, but shaping the atmosphere around it.
